Lentil and potato soup


Nice and hearty soup rich in protein that will both warm you up in a cold day and fill you for a long time.


Ingredients:

Must haves:

green lentils

potatoes

water

salt

Nice to haves:

Onion

Cheese/or milk

Dried herbs mix

Procedure:

Pre-soak the lentils for couple of hours/ideally overnight

Put them to boil in water with salt for about 10min before adding peeled and chopped potatoes and if you have also finelly chopped onions for extra flavour.

Boil until the veggies are tender.

Right before finished, add cheese cut in small cubes or a spoon of dried milk for extra creaminess. You can also spicy it up with dried herbs.
